Wecome to our docudrama unit. In this unit, students in small groups select and read a common novel. Together they write, produce, and perform a six-scene docudrama which proposes answers to a big question raised by the group's novel. Learning activities include developing and reflecting upon collaboration skills, writing and editing scripts, researching and making connections between literature, the real world, and ourselves, rehearsing, memorizing and presenting a docudrama, and using costumes, props, music, lighting, and multimedia to create dramatic and meaningful impacts upon our audience.
